Eventene Releases Version 3.0 of Event Planning App

SANTA MONICA, California- February 18, 2020 - today Eventene introduced Version 3.0 of their web-based event planning application. This new release for all Eventene customers includes long-awaited support for Public Events with Open Registration. Event organizers can now create an Event in Eventene, share the link, and anyone with the link can register to attend.

Previously, Eventene supported private Events, where only invitees listed within the Event were able to register. For most organizations, invite-only Events are limited to employees or members, such as internal meetings and company offsites. However, now organizers can promote and market their Events on social media and any website.

"Support for both Private and Public Events, greatly expands Eventene’s value across a wide variety of event types and fulfills a commitment we made to our existing customers who wanted this ability." There is no change to monthly subscription prices or upgrade required. Public Events are supported across all subscription levels.
