Eventene-NSA Privacy Policy
How Eventene collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when powering the NSA application.

Eventene, Inc. (“Eventene”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides event management software and services, including www.eventene.com, other websites under the eventene.com domain, and the Eventene mobile application (collectively, the “Services”). Eventene is a Delaware corporation with its principal business operations in Santa Monica, California.

We provide the Services primarily to enterprise customers and event organizers (“Organizers”). In most cases, Eventene acts as a service provider and data processor, processing personal information on behalf of the Organizer. This Privacy Policy explains how Eventene collects, uses, shares, stores, and otherwise processes information in connection with the Services and when you otherwise interact with us.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to websites, mobile applications, or services that do not link to this Policy, including tools provided directly by Organizers or third parties. Organizer and third-party privacy practices are their own responsibility.

1. Roles of Eventene and NSA

Eventene

  • Operates the platform and servers
  • Processes personal information submitted through the NSA App
  • Manages account authentication and infrastructure
  • Provides technical support and system improvements

NSA

  • Acts as an Organizer of events hosted within the app
  • Provides event-related content (speaker bios, schedules, session information, etc.)
  • May access participant data for event administration

NSA is not responsible for:

  • Technical processing of data
  • Platform availability or outages
  • App hosting or infrastructure
  • Payment processing
  • Account management for the platform layer

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information from users of the NSA App, including NSA event attendees, organizers, speakers, and anyone who contacts Eventene support.

The categories of information we collect include:

A. Contact and Profile Information

Examples:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Organization, title, or role
  • Demographic details (if requested during registration)

B. Account Information

If you create an account:

  • Username and password
  • Authentication tokens for third-party sign-ins (Microsoft, Google, Apple)

Eventene does not receive or store third-party passwords.

C. Event Participation Information

Examples:

  • RSVPs and registration details
  • Activity or session sign-ups
  • Attendance logs or check-ins
  • Seating or table assignments
  • Lead scanning or exhibitor interactions (if used)
  • Dietary preferences, special requirements (if voluntarily provided)

This data is collected on behalf of NSA as Organizer.

D. Support and Communications

Information submitted when:

  • Requesting help
  • Asking questions
  • Providing feedback

E. Geolocation (Optional)

If granted permission:

  • GPS/device location to assist with navigation to event venues

You may revoke permission at any time in your device settings.

F. Device and Technical Information

Collected automatically:

  • Device type and OS version
  • App version
  • IP address
  • Browser type
  • Device identifiers (IDFA, GAID)
  • Session metadata
  • Crash logs
  • Performance analytics

G. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies, pixels, and similar tools to improve app performance and analyze usage patterns.

3. User Content and Responsibility

The NSA App may allow you to upload or share content (“User Content”), such as:

  • Profile photos
  • Comments or chat messages
  • Session preferences
  • Uploaded files
  • Badge scans/lead notes

Eventene does not control or endorse User Content.
The person who submits User Content assumes responsibility for it.

NSA is responsible for:

  • Event-related data they request from you
  • Determining the lawful basis for collecting certain event information

4. How We Use Personal Information

We process information to:

A. Operate and Improve the NSA App

  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Deliver event schedules and logistics
  • Facilitate communication between organizers and attendees
  • Enable QR badge scanning or lead capture (where enabled)
  • Support role-based access to event information
  • Send reminders, updates, and notifications
  • Provide technical support

B. Further Event Administration

  • Manage RSVPs
  • Assign activities or sessions
  • Track participation or points
  • Support exhibitor interactions (if applicable)

C. Analytics, Research & Development

  • Improve reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Identify usage patterns
  • Develop new features

D. Security, Compliance & Legal

  • Investigate misuse or fraud
  • Respond to legal requests
  • Protect the rights of organizers, users, or Eventene

E. Aggregated or De-Identified Data

We may generate anonymized or aggregated data sets that cannot reasonably identify users.

5. No Sale or Monetization of Personal Data

Eventene does not sell, rent, or monetize personal information collected through the NSA App.
NSA is not permitted to sell or commercialize personal information collected through the app.

Personal information is processed solely:

  • To provide event functionality
  • For attendee engagement
  • For organizer administration
  • For platform performance and security

We do not use information collected in the NSA App for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. How We Share Information

A. At the Direction of NSA

Eventene may share personal information with third parties if directed by NSA for event administration (e.g., speakers, exhibitors, sponsors).
NSA remains responsible for those recipients and their practices.

B. Service Providers / Subprocessors

Eventene may use third-party vendors for:

  • Hosting and storage
  • Email delivery
  • Authentication
  • Analytics
  • Messaging
  • Support

These entities process data only as instructed by Eventene.

C. Legal and Safety Requirements

We may disclose information:

  • To comply with legal processes
  • To prevent fraud or abuse
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of others

D. Business Transfers

Personal information may transfer in the context of a merger, sale, acquisition, or similar event.

7. Payments

If event fees are collected within the NSA App:

  • Payments are processed by Stripe or other third-party payment processors
  • Eventene and NSA do not receive or store full payment card numbers
  • The payment processor’s privacy policy applies

8. Data Retention and Portability

A. Export Requests

If NSA terminates use of the app services, NSA may request a machine-readable export of Organizer data within 60 days of termination.

B. Post-Termination Deletion

After this period, Eventene may delete or anonymize Organizer data and User Content unless retention is required:

  • By law
  • For audit or accounting
  • For legitimate business purposes

C. Backups

Eventene maintains system backups for disaster recovery.
They are not archives and cannot be used to restore deleted user data.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Requests to access, correct, or delete personal information may be sent to:

If your data was submitted to NSA for an event:
We may direct you to contact NSA directly.

10. GDPR (EEA/UK)

If you are located in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR, including:

  • Access
  • Correction
  • Deletion
  • Restriction
  • Portability
  • Objection

Eventene processes personal information on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance
  • Legitimate interests
  • Legal obligations
  • Consent where required

Where NSA determines which data is collected (e.g., event forms), NSA is the data controller.
Eventene acts as a data processor.

11. CCPA / CPRA (California)

California residents have rights to:

  • Know what data is collected
  • Access personal data
  • Request deletion
  • Correct inaccurate data

The NSA App does not sell or share personal information as defined by CPRA.

12. Children’s Privacy

The NSA App is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect information from minors without parental consent.

We will remove the data if required.

13. Security

Eventene employs technical and administrative safeguards to protect personal information.
No system is fully secure.
Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and devices.

14. Third-Party Websites

The NSA App may contain links to unrelated external websites or services.
Eventene is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

15. International Data Transfers

Eventene is a Delaware corporation, operating in the United States.
Personal information may be transferred to countries whose privacy laws differ from your own.

Where legally required, we implement safeguards such as contractual clauses.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
The “Last Updated” date above will reflect the revision.
Continued use of the NSA App indicates acceptance of any updated version.
